Radha Rani Handcrafted Jhula

₹2,100.00

There is a moment before Kanha is placed upon it when the swing simply waits catching the room's light in a hundred small mirrors, as if rehearsing for the festival still to come. Rajasthan's artisans have long dressed the divine in this language: mirror, pearl, and thread, layered until ornament becomes offering. This jhula continues that inheritance, one hand-set mirror at a time.

Lotus-shaped mirror-work medallions anchor each corner, their petals outlined in zari and edged in pearl, while a garland of pearl-and-bead strands falls from the canopy like a chain caught mid-sway. Ivory and deep-red blooms rest at the base cotton and sola-wood flowers shaped by hand — beside twin paisley medallions finished in gold thread. The seat carries a traditional bandhani-print textile in red, mustard, and indigo, bordered with a pearl-drop trim that catches the eye before the eye reaches the mirrors above.

A matching pearl mala and kada accompany the piece, completing the presentation for Janmashtami and everyday puja alike. Every mirror, every petal, every knot of pearl is placed individually — which means no two jhulas are ever quite identical, and that, too, is the point.
